SUPPORTED FORMATS

A clear scope for each format.

PowerPoint · .pptx

Slide text, supported SmartArt, notes, comments, hidden slides, external links and metadata. Slide locations.

Word · .docx

Paragraphs, tables, headers/footers, comments, footnotes/endnotes, supported text boxes, inserted/deleted revisions, hyperlinks and properties. XML-part paragraph order, not rendered pages.

Excel · .xlsx

Text cells, shared/inline strings, formula text, sheet names, hidden sheets, comments, links and properties. Sheet and cell locations. Formulas are not recalculated.

PDF · .pdf

Extractable page text, URL text, external link annotations and standard document information. Page locations. No OCR.

Forbidden terms and unfinished wording are shared checks. Other inspection items depend on the format. The customer memo is not a detection rule; register names as forbidden terms.

Your documents stay on your PC.

Inspection and license verification run locally. No file uploads, external paid APIs, license server, automatic telemetry or monthly charges. Office and Adobe Acrobat are not required for inspection.

Internet access is used for purchase and download through the stores. After obtaining the installer and key, activation and inspection work offline.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Review the limits, too.

No OCR, legacy Office (.ppt/.doc/.xls), macro-enabled formats or Strict Open XML. Images and embedded documents are excluded. Excel drawings, charts and formatted numeric display values are not inspected. PDF forms, attachments, JavaScript and XMP are excluded.

Image-only, encrypted, corrupt or wholly unextractable PDFs are not reported as successful inspections. Pages without extractable text produce a partial-inspection notice. PDF text order and font mappings can cause omissions.

Missed findings and false positives are possible. Zero findings is not a guarantee against information leakage. DOCX/XLSX/PDF limits include 256 MB files, 64 MB XML parts and 512 MB total ZIP expansion.

The installer is unsigned. Windows SmartScreen or organizational policies may warn or block execution. Verify the source and SHA-256; do not disable Windows security protections.

No guaranteed individual setup/training, response deadline or continuous free updates. Refunds for buyer convenience are generally excluded, subject to mandatory law and platform rules. Read the current store terms before purchase.
